Windows instances are provided in evaluation mode: no license is included, and you can apply your own after deployment.

Yes. Every VM gets a dedicated domain with reverse DNS at creation. Preinstalled applications generate their HTTPS certificate automatically on first boot: your service is live over https with zero configuration.

Yes. vCPU, RAM, and storage are dedicated to your VM, we do not overprovision. The resources you rent are never resold to other customers: performance stays constant, including for production workloads.

Every VM includes up to 7 manual backups at no extra cost: you trigger a restore point whenever you want and can request a restore at any time. Automatic backups are available as an option at 3 CAD per month per VM. For finer-grained application backups (databases, files), manage them inside your VM. Backups are not a disaster recovery plan: they live on the same infrastructure as your VM, so keep a copy of your data off the platform.

Every VM includes 1 TB of monthly traffic on a 1 Gbps link. Beyond that, extra traffic is billed at 2 CAD per TB, no cutoff, no surprise invoice.

All orders and payments go through the console.ffxf.net panel: create an account, pick your plan, and pay online. Billing is hourly, monthly or annual, in CAD, at a fixed price. Hourly rental draws on prepaid credit: you top up, you order, and any hour started is owed. Delete the VM and the meter stops with it.

In Montréal, Québec, on FFxF's own network, AS402554. FFxF is a sole proprietorship registered in Québec (NEQ 2282145301) and located in Montréal. Your data stays in Canada, under Québec's Law 25 and, where it applies, federal PIPEDA. See the legal notice.

FFxF commits to 99.9% monthly availability per VM. Below that, a credit applies to the affected VM's monthly fee: 10% from 99.0%, 25% from 95.0%, 50% under 95.0%, 100% under 90.0%. You request it from the console within 30 days of the end of the month. Planned maintenance is announced at least 48 hours ahead on status.ffxf.net and is not counted. Full terms in section 4.

Human support, reachable 24/7, covers everything on FFxF's side: hypervisor, network, storage, provisioning, IP addresses, reverse DNS, console and billing. It does not cover the inside of your VM: guest OS administration, application configuration or debugging, migrations, third-party software. Courtesy help may be offered on those topics, with no commitment as to time or outcome. Details in section 2.15.

Yes, once per customer: a first VPS subscription can be refunded if you ask from the console within 7 days of paying the first invoice. Renewals, periods already started and add-ons (extra IPv4, automatic backups, out-of-plan traffic) are excluded. A cryptocurrency payment is refunded as account credit. Details in section 2.7.

Anything legal that harms neither the network, nor other customers, nor third parties. Sustained CPU load is fine: computation, continuous builds, language model inference, mining. Prohibited: spam, phishing, malware, command-and-control, unauthorised scanning or intrusion testing, denial of service, open relays and amplifiers. A Tor exit node, an open proxy or reselling VPN access require written agreement beforehand; a Tor middle relay or a VPN for your own use does not. Outbound port 25 is closed by default and opened on request. Full policy in the acceptable use policy.
